Your 1981 GMC Hi-Cube: the work
For the 1981 GMC Hi-Cube, exterior detailing starts with a quote from a person, never a guess. Outside work covers the paint, wheels, tires, glass and trim.
The car itself
A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately. We note the car's condition with you when it comes in.
Your request
A person reads your request and replies with the next step. Tell us when the car is free and whether you can drop it off. If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more.
Driving while yours is in
A rental by the day covers the time your car is in. Keep driving while it is detailed: we deliver a rental and collect it when yours is ready. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
After the work
Ask us how to care for the work when you collect the car. Keep the invoice with your records; it helps when you sell the car.
Timing
Collect the car when it is ready, or ask us to arrange the handover. Pick-up time is confirmed when the work is finished.
Why prices differ
Older paint or heavy wear can mean more preparation before the main work. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. The condition of the car matters too; heavy dirt, deep scratches or rust take longer.
What to bring
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
