Weekly car rental: 2021 Ford Edge ST in Java

Weekly car rental: the 2021 Ford Edge ST

Searching for weekly car rental? Here is the 2021 Ford Edge ST: what it is like and how to rent it. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies. A week with one car, one agreement and one deposit.

The Edge and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 442 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java.

Frankfort, Sharples and Raab Corners are the neighbouring places on our list.

The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

A combined rating of 9.8 L/100 km works out to about 29 litres per 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $45.57 at our price setting.

Who rents the Edge

Families, skiers and anyone with bulky luggage. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Space, size and seats

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Renting it

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.

Licence, age and card

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
