Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How the arrangement works
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A rental while you wait
The rental is priced like any other on our site. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Between shop visits
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires.
