Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a wheel alignment on the 1981 BMW 533i, we connect you with a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
About your 533i
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts.
How the arrangement works
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A rental while you wait
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We collect the rental when your car is back. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Talking to the shop
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Good habits for your car
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Send a request
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
