Arranging the work for the 733i
For a wheel alignment on the 1982 BMW 733i, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your 733i and the shop
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Who does what
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Keep moving meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you.
Let us know
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
