Arranging the work for the DeVille/60 Special
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a wheel alignment on the Cadillac DeVille/60 Special, we connect you with a trusted shop. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the DeVille/60 Special.
Our part and the shop's part
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We collect the rental when your car is back. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Getting a clear quote
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare.
Between shop visits
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Ready when you are
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
