Arranging the work for the Aries
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a wheel alignment on the 1985 Dodge Aries, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Your Aries and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Aries. Power: the 2.2L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive.
The steps
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
Stay on the road
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Car care, briefly
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
What to ask
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
One more step
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
