Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1985 Ford CF6000 we arrange a trusted shop. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Your CF6000 and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What CarmaCars does here
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
A car meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Small things that help
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
