The 1982 Ford LNT8000: Wheel alignment
For a wheel alignment on the 1982 Ford LNT8000, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Your LNT8000 and the shop
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your LNT8000, have it ready for the shop.
Who does what
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We collect the rental when your car is back. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
What to ask
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Talk to a person
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
