Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 1982 Ford LT800, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the LT800.
How we help
Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A car while yours is in the shop
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Small things that help
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Make a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
