Arranging the work for the ACL
Wheel alignment for the 1986 GMC ACL: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. If you have the service history of your ACL, have it ready for the shop.
How we help
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car while yours is in the shop
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Car care, briefly
Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
What to ask
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Questions first?
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
