Arranging the work for the ACL
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a wheel alignment on the 1995 GMC ACL, we connect you with a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your ACL and the shop
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How the arrangement works
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
Before the shop starts
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
Between shop visits
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Make a request
A short request starts it: the car, the problem, and when suits you.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
