Wheel alignment for the 1985 GMC ACM
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1985 GMC ACM we arrange a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your ACM and the shop
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
How the arrangement works
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Small things that help
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Check that all lights work every few weeks.
Next step
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
