Arranging the work for the ACM
Wheel alignment for the 1987 GMC ACM: the work is done by a shop we trust, never by CarmaCars. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
How the request works
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there.
A rental while you wait
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Good habits for your car
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Getting a clear quote
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Send a request
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
