The 1990 GMC ACM: Wheel alignment
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1990 GMC ACM we arrange a trusted shop. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Your ACM and the shop
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
What we arrange
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Look at the tire tread before long trips.
Over to you
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
