Arranging the work for the ACM
Need a wheel alignment for the 1994 GMC ACM? We arrange it with a trusted shop; the work is never done by CarmaCars. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Your ACM and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. If you have the service history of your ACM, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the ACM.
How we help
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
A car while yours is in the shop
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Talking to the shop
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
One more step
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
