Arranging the work for the C/K Pickup
For a wheel alignment on the 1982 GMC C/K Pickup, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
What we arrange
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car.
A car meanwhile
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Good habits for your car
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Talk to a person
Ask, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
