The 1982 GMC C7: Wheel alignment
For a wheel alignment on the 1982 GMC C7, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Your C7 and the shop
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
How the arrangement works
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A rental while you wait
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We hand every car over in person, at your address or at our location.
Between shop visits
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can.
Before the shop starts
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
One more step
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
