Wheel alignment for the 1989 GMC CACL
For a wheel alignment on the 1989 GMC CACL, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Your car, your notes
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the CACL. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
What CarmaCars does here
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Your rental while you wait
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
Between shop visits
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
What to ask
Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Make a request
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
