Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1992 GMC CACL we arrange a trusted shop. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Details the shop needs
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the CACL. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
How we help
Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
Keep moving meanwhile
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Between shop visits
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Getting a clear quote
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Next step
One request: the job, the car, and whether you need a rental meanwhile.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
