Wheel alignment: how we help
The 1985 GMC DS and a wheel alignment: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. If you have the service history of your DS, have it ready for the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the DS.
How the request works
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Driving while yours is at the shop
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Car care, briefly
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule.
Before the shop starts
Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Ready to ask?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
