Wheel alignment for the 1987 GMC DS
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1987 GMC DS we arrange a trusted shop. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Your DS and the shop
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. If you have the service history of your DS, have it ready for the shop.
What we arrange
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Your rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Car care, briefly
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back.
Send a request
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
