Wheel alignment for the 1985 GMC FE
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1985 GMC FE we arrange a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your FE and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
How we help
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
A rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Before the shop starts
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Good habits for your car
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
