Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 1984 GMC Forward Control, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Before the shop sees your Forward Control
Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
Our part and the shop's part
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A rental while you wait
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.
Small things that help
Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Talking to the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Questions first?
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
