Wheel alignment for the GMC Jimmy
For a wheel alignment on the GMC Jimmy, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your Jimmy and the shop
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What to send us
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Getting a clear quote
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept.
Car care, briefly
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Let us know
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
