Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on your 1981 GMC S15 Utility, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. If you have the service history of your S15 Utility, have it ready for the shop. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
What we arrange
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A car meanwhile
We collect the rental when your car is back. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
A short checklist
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Between shop visits
Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell.
Talk to a person
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
