Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the GMC V Conventional we arrange a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
What CarmaCars does here
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Getting a clear quote
Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice.
Small things that help
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Talk to a person
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
