Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 1983 GMC Value Van, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
About your Value Van
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed. If you have the service history of your Value Van, have it ready for the shop.
From request to repair
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job.
A rental while you wait
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Talking to the shop
Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Small things that help
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
Over to you
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
