The 1984 GMC Value Van: Wheel alignment
Your 1984 GMC Value Van needs a wheel alignment? We arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
Our part and the shop's part
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
Driving while yours is at the shop
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery starts at $0 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
Between shop visits
Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Next step
Describe the problem, and we arrange a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
