Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 1985 GMC WIA, a trusted shop does the work and CarmaCars arranges it, with a rental if you need one. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
What we arrange
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. Send a request with the car and what it needs; a person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.
A short checklist
Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Good habits for your car
Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Make a request
Need a rental too? Add it to the same request.
Request wheel alignment
