Wheel alignment: how we help
Searching for wheel alignment for the 1985 GMC WIS? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. If you have the service history of your WIS, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
Who does what
Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
What to ask
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there. Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree.
Between shop visits
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Get an offer
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
