Arranging the work for the WIS
For a wheel alignment on your 1990 GMC WIS, we arrange a trusted shop; CarmaCars does not do the work. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Your car, your notes
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the WIS. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them.
From request to repair
We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
A car meanwhile
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Delivery to your door is available across the Toronto area.
Before the shop starts
If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Good habits for your car
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
When you know your dates
Send a request with the car and what it needs, and a person replies within one business day.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
