Arranging the work for the IS
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 2027 Lexus IS we arrange a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Before the shop sees your IS
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them.
The steps
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
No car? Rent one meanwhile
Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.
What to ask
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the quote includes both parts and labour. If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it.
Between shop visits
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Make a request
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
