The McLaren P1: Wheel alignment
The McLaren P1 and a wheel alignment: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. If you have the service history of your P1, have it ready for the shop.
The steps
You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. You approve the shop's quote before any work.
Your rental while you wait
Add a rental to the same request as the repair. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Small things that help
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Check that all lights work every few weeks. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
What to ask
Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Make a request
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
