Arranging the work for the Sable
Your 1998 Mercury Sable needs a wheel alignment? We do not do mechanical work, but we arrange it and rent you a car meanwhile. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Details the shop needs
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. If you have the service history of your Sable, have it ready for the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. The 3.0L 6-cylinder is what moves it, with front-wheel drive.
How we help
We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Driving while yours is at the shop
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.
Talking to the shop
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Small things that help
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Your move
Need the work and a rental? One request covers both.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
