Arranging the work for the fortwo
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a wheel alignment on the 2016 smart fortwo, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Before the shop sees your fortwo
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Its 0.9L 3-cylinder turbo drives through a 6-speed automatic.
How we help
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We do not set the shop's price or promise a date. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
A car meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Small things that help
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
What to ask
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for.
Ready to ask?
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
