Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a wheel alignment on the 1988 Subaru XT6, we connect you with a trusted shop. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Your car, your notes
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car. If you have the service history of your XT6, have it ready for the shop.
What to send us
You approve the shop's quote before any work. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. We keep you posted until the car is booked in.
A rental while you wait
We deliver the rental to you and collect it when your car is ready. The rental is priced like any other on our site. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Between shop visits
Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months.
Before the shop starts
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask how the shop takes payment before you pick the car up.
Over to you
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
