Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a wheel alignment on the 2004 Volvo Cab Behind Engine, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. A crooked steering wheel on a straight road is a common sign the alignment is off.
Before the shop sees your Cab Behind Engine
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
What to send us
The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. You agree everything with the shop before work begins. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name.
A car while yours is in the shop
If the repair runs long, keep the rental longer. We bring the rental to you and collect it afterwards. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
Between shop visits
Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them. Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold.
Getting a clear quote
Ask the shop to explain the repair in plain words before you agree. Ask when the car will be ready and how the shop will tell you. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history.
Ready when you are
Send a request: the car, the problem and when suits you.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
