Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 1990 Volvo NE, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and never does the work itself. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Before the shop sees your NE
Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the NE.
What we arrange
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Your rental while you wait
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.
Getting a clear quote
If the car must stay overnight, ask where it will be kept. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon.
Between shop visits
Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Listen for new noises and mention them to the shop with as much detail as you can. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt.
Get an offer
Tell us the job and the car, and a person replies.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
