Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a wheel alignment on the 1985 Volvo NR we arrange a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your car, your notes
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the NR. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request.
How we help
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in.
Stay on the road
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Small things that help
Check that all lights work every few weeks. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow.
Getting a clear quote
Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies. Ask whether anything else is close to needing attention, and how soon. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Still deciding?
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
