Wheel alignment: how we help
For a wheel alignment on the 2016 Volvo VHD, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
Before the shop sees your VHD
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
Our part and the shop's part
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. You approve the shop's quote before any work. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven.
A car while yours is in the shop
Keep moving with a rental while the shop has your car, by the day at our usual rates. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Getting a clear quote
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts. Ask whether the estimate includes tax and shop supplies.
Small things that help
Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
Send a request
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
