The 1998 Volvo VNC and a wheel alignment: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. An alignment keeps the car driving straight and the tires wearing evenly.
About your VNC
Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the VNC. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
How the arrangement works
You agree the price with the shop before any work starts. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name. The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work.
Stay on the road
A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. The rental is priced like any other on our site. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Talking to the shop
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Between shop visits
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Look at the tire tread before long trips. Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due.
Ask us
Ask us, and we tell you whether we can arrange it.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
