Wheel alignment: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a wheel alignment on the 2009 Volvo VT, we connect you with a trusted shop. Hitting a pothole hard can knock the wheels out of line.
Your VT and the shop
The shop may ask for the VIN to order the right parts. If you have the service history of your VT, have it ready for the shop. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
How we help
The shop quotes the job; you approve it before any work. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
Your rental while you wait
Rent for as long as the job takes, by the day or the week. Rent by the day or the week, and stop when your car is back. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Car care, briefly
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Clear snow off the whole car, roof included, before you drive.
Talking to the shop
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected.
Over to you
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request wheel alignment
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
