Window tint: the 2012 Ford F-450
Your 2012 Ford F-450 and window tint: what to send us, what it involves, and a car to drive meanwhile. Window tint must follow the rules for tinted windows where you drive; ask us about them.
Your F-450, up close
As a car, it is a straightforward size for this work. Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV.
Booking a time
Send the year, the trim and what you want done; photos make the price more accurate. We reply within one business day with a time and a price. We confirm the price and the time with you before any work.
Your car is in; you are not stuck
A rental by the day keeps you moving while your car is in. Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. Delivery starts at $75 plus distance; collecting the car yourself is free.
On the day
Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to. Tell us about any marks or damage already on the car, so we note them together. Take valuables and personal items out of the car before the work.
Aftercare
Park out of direct sun when you can to protect paint and interior. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
How the price is set
The same job can take more time on a car with more trim or detail. Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Photos let us give a closer price before we see the car in person.
When the car is ready
Weather and curing times can change the schedule for some work. A wash or a light detail takes hours; paint correction, film and coatings can take days.
Send a request
Send photos and a few details, and a person replies with the next step.
Request window tint
Tell us when suits you; we reply within one business day with a time and a price.
