Window tint: your Thunderbird
This page covers window tint for the 1981 Ford Thunderbird, and a rental while the car is with us. Window tint must follow the rules for tinted windows where you drive; ask us about them.
About your Thunderbird
Tell us the year and the trim; the details change from one to the next. A car of this size is quick to work on compared with a large SUV. Photos of the car help us quote it accurately.
How to request it
If the job turns out larger, we ask you before doing more. Tell us whether you can drop the car off or need it collected. Ask anything about the work in the request.
Driving while yours is in
Rent the size of car you need for the days the work takes. We collect the rental when your car is ready. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Keeping it that way
Look over the work in daylight when you collect the car. A quick wipe of bird droppings and sap stops them from marking the paint.
Planning around the work
A clear timeline comes with every quote. You can plan the rental for the same number of days as the work.
Why prices differ
Two cars of the same model can need different work, so we quote each one. Simple jobs cost less; we tell you if a smaller job would do. The quote shows the price for your car and what it includes.
Getting the car ready
If you need a rental, add it to the request so it is ready when you arrive. Bring the keys you use every day, and the wheel lock key if the car has one. Point out anything you want us to pay special attention to.
