Arranging the work for the Skyhawk
The Buick Skyhawk and a winter tire change: CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop, and never does the work itself. Tread depth matters for grip in rain and snow; the shop measures it.
Details the shop needs
If you have the service history of your Skyhawk, have it ready for the shop. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop. Your owner's manual lists the maintenance schedule for the Skyhawk.
What to send us
We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. You agree everything with the shop before work begins.
A rental while you wait
We can have a rental ready the day your car goes in. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. Delivery and pickup are both options across the Toronto area.
Small things that help
Check the tire pressure once a month, when the tires are cold. Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Keep an emergency kit in the trunk in winter.
Questions to ask the shop
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. If you want to see the old parts, ask for them back. Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours.
Ask us
A request is free and gets a reply within one business day.
Request winter tires
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
