Winter tires: how we help
For a winter tire change on the CODA, CarmaCars arranges a trusted shop and rents you a car while yours is in. Storing your off-season tires is often something the shop can arrange.
Your car, your notes
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. The shop sets its own price and time after it sees the car.
The steps
The shop sets the price and the time after seeing the car. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
A car meanwhile
A rental from us keeps you moving while the shop has your car. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.
Small things that help
Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Have the cabin air filter changed on the maker's schedule. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
What to ask
Ask if the shop needs the car for a full day or only a few hours. Ask for the work to be listed line by line on the invoice. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
Get an offer
Ask in your request, and we tell you plainly what we can arrange.
Request winter tires
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
