Arranging the work for the Lanos
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for a winter tire change on the Daewoo Lanos we arrange a trusted shop. Winter tires grip better in cold, snow and ice than all-season tires.
Your car, your notes
Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. If you have the service history of your Lanos, have it ready for the shop.
Our part and the shop's part
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We pass your request to a trusted shop or give you its name. You agree the price with the shop before any work starts.
A car while yours is in the shop
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Pick a car that suits your week from our fleet. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
Talking to the shop
Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour.
Good habits for your car
Note the mileage when each service is done, so you know when the next is due. If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Keep the spare, the jack and the wheel lock key where you can find them.
When you know your dates
Tell us what is wrong with the car, and we arrange the rest with a trusted shop.
Request winter tires
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
