Arranging the work for the Sprinter
CarmaCars does not do this work itself. For a winter tire change on the 2005 Dodge Sprinter, we arrange it with a trusted shop or connect you with one. Winter tires grip better in cold, snow and ice than all-season tires.
Details the shop needs
A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare. Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. Tell the shop about any warning light or sound you have noticed.
What CarmaCars does here
We tell you plainly if we do not know a shop for the job. We keep you posted until the car is booked in. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
A car while yours is in the shop
Rent by the day while the shop has your car. We collect the rental when your car is back. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.
Good habits for your car
If the car pulls to one side, ask the shop to check the alignment and the tires. Replace wiper blades when they streak; it matters in rain and snow. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Getting a clear quote
If a warning light was the reason, ask what the code was and what fixed it. Ask how the shop will contact you if it finds something unexpected. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate.
