The 2017 Honda Civic EX: Winter tires
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work. For a winter tire change on the 2017 Honda Civic EX, we connect you with a trusted shop. Winter tires are worth fitting before the first snow.
Details the shop needs
Bring the owner's manual or service records if you have them. Tell the shop the tire size printed on the sidewall; it differs by trim. If you have the service history of your Civic, have it ready for the shop. The 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with front-wheel drive.
Who does what
We keep you posted until the car is booked in. Tell us when suits you, and whether the car can be driven. The repair is between you and the shop; the rental is with us.
Small things that help
Keep a record of every service; it helps the shop and adds value when you sell. Use the grade of fuel your owner's manual calls for. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance.
A short checklist
Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used. Ask whether the shop needs your keys, the wheel lock key or the spare. Ask for a written estimate before any work starts.
The Civic and Java
